Wander the endless and cavernous halls of the Louvre and you just might run across a similar scene... an artist meticulously replicating a famous master.
Of course, you don't have to visit the Louvre. This lonesome canvas was in a small museum in Chartres...

I was born in Bologna, Italy and moved to the U.S. when I was 7. At 24, I took a trip back to Italy (my third return since moving) and, before I knew it, was addicted. Job and funds in hand, it was time to feed my addiction and get my travel fix. Blame it on my parents... the ones who took our family traveling at a young age and the ones who instilled in me a spirit to travel.
I speak English, Italian, enough Spanish to make me dangerous and a smattering of French.
